India Premiere - Still Dancing 2024

Five years to the date, we are all set to bring Still Dancing to India.

After a round of hectic auditions in January, and rehearsals through March and April, the first show with an all new cast and crew premieres at the NCPA Experimental Theatre on 11^th April 2024. 

This leg of the first run sees two shows in Mumbai, the premiere at the XP followed by one at the Royal Opera House on the 13^th. After that we head to Ahmedabad for two shows at the Forum Club 07 in Ahmedabad on the 19^th and 20^th April.

Thirty Days in September

How does one recalibrate the past when it is devastating? How does one reframe one’s memories if they are debilitating? When darkness gets to a point of comfort, how does one turn to the light? When exactly does one finally say, “Enough!”

Third Half Theatre, in collaboration with EnAct, presents Mahesh Dattani’s powerful ‘Thirty Days in September’ at The Dubai Heights Academy, Al Barsha for one night only on Saturday the 13th of January 2024 at 7 pm.

This deeply moving play is a journey into the impermanence of memory, the suppression thereof, and the fantasies we propagate to render the truth palatable. 

Set against the backdrop of intricate human emotions and the lingering shadows of the past, this theatrical journey is one not to be missed.

Mumbai Auditions - Still Dancing

The magic of Still Dancing, our play on Parkinson’s, continues as we announce open auditions in Mumbai for the India leg of its journey.

Third Half Theatre is immensely proud to get back together with Movement Mantra to bring you this moving piece for its India premiere planned for the 11^th of April on World Parkinson’s Day in Mumbai.

The wonderful folk at QTP have put together the auditions planned from the 18^th to the 21^st of January 2024. If you would like to audition, or know anyone in India who would, please direct them to this link to register by the 14th of January.

Still Dancing is an entertaining and thought-provoking amalgamation of music, dance and theatre, celebrating the struggles and triumphs of the human spirit. 

It is an attempt to bring much needed attention, not only to People with Parkinson’s but also to the care givers and family members who experience the life altering impact of the condition.
