Third Half Theatre

That which has been done needs to be done differently. That which has been experimented with too much, needs to be brought back to its roots. Art, in many ways, is the constant pursuit of the ‘other’. An enigmatic, highly sought element that defines how we perceive novelty. It is an elusive chimera that takes the ordinary and catapults it into the sublime.

We like to call it the Third Half

Third Half Theatre’s manifesto is to make no excuses whatsoever for theatre born and nurtured in Dubai. We will not ask to be treated differently or preferentially. Instead we will demand the rigour of audience critique to the highest standards.

It is a bold ambition, one that risks all. But then again, how can we succeed if we do not at first risk failure.
